Biography
Stewart Barr graduated from the University of Exeter’s Geography Department in 1998 and continued his studies at Exeter undertaking a PhD thesis entitled ‘Factors influencing household attitudes and behaviours towards waste management in Exeter, Devon’. Building on this research, he was instrumental in obtaining a £113,000 grant from ESRC to work on ‘Environmental Action in and Around the Home’. After working for two years as a Research Fellow on this project, 'He is now Senior Lecturer in Human Geography in the Department and Director of the MSc in MSc in Sustainable Development
