MSc Sustainable Development

Programme structure

The MSc Sustainable Development is available for study 12 months full-time and 24 months part-time. The full-time variant is studied over three terms and is University-based throughout this time. The taught components of the programme are delivered in the first two terms; you then have a four-month period in which to complete your dissertation. The final stages of your dissertation, between the end of the third term and the submission date in September, may be undertaken at a distance. The part-time variant follows the same pattern as the full-time, but is studied over 24 months. Part-time students are encouraged to complete 60 credits each year, followed by the dissertation over four months at the end of two years.

During the programme you will study 180 credits comprised of a number of compulsory modules, including a dissertation, and optional modules.
