Dr Caroline Kuzemko
Caroline Kuzemko is a Senior Research Fellow and member of the EPSRC funded project 'Innovation and Governance' (IGov). IGov investigates complex inter-relationships between energy governance and innovative, sustainable practice change in energy systems - with an emphasis on demand management. In particular, she is responsible for comparing governing for innovations between Germany and the UK.
From October 2011 to October 2012 she worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in the 'Energy and Environment' workpackage of the EU funded GR:EEN project at the University of Warwick focusing on EU energy and climate policy, and EU-Russia energy relations.
Caroline is also a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for the Studiy of Globalisation and Regionalisation (CSGR) at the University of Warwick.
She has expertise in international political economy with specialized interests in energy and climate policymaking, governance norms and institutional change. She is the founder and convenor of an academic network 'Political Economy of Energy in Europe and Russia' (PEEER) and the co-convenor of the PSA special group 'Antipolitics and Depoliticisation' (APDSG).
From 1994 to 2002 Caroline worked as Head of Emerging Market Equity Sales (ex Asia) for UBS bank in London. Her area of expertise was Latin American investments.
