Overview

I am a part-time Senior Lecturer with the Global Systems Institute and a Senior Scientist at the Met Office. I have a broad background in the Environmental Sciences. My interests remain broad and include using climate modelling to study the impacts of climate change on food security, and on pests and diseases in particular, and to understand the climate of the Miocene epoch. At the Met Office I am part of the Climate Security Team.

Broad Research Specialisms

Climate science, food security, paleoclimate

Qualifications

BSc Environmental Management and Technology,
MPhil (CANTAB) Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing,
PhD Palaeoclimate Modelling
