Overview
I am a Biologist and hold a PhD in Plant Biology from Unicamp and UWA. More specifically, I’m interested on plant mineral nutrition in P poor ecosystems and how plant root traits can influence ecosystem services.

Research interests
My background is on plant physiological ecology with focus on plant mineral nutrition, mostly on nutrient poor environments (i.e. Cerrado, Kwongan vegetation).
During my career, I have published scientific articles and presented several works on plant mineral nutrition and restoration in grasslands. In the past years, I have been involved in restoration projects in Kenyan and Brazilian savannah, researching on how plat-traits can help restoring soil multifunctionality.
