A multi-skilled and innovative socially-minded thinker with over 9 years experience of teaching Higher Education. Matthew enjoys sharing a passion for sub-cultures and creating opportunities for equal representation. Currently employed to deliver an EU funded Widening Participation through Skills programme titled ‘Citizen Journalism News Network’. The work is interested in delivering a 12-week-long course of the subject of Citizen Journalism in an attempt to lay the foundations for a broader network of citizen journalists across the South-West. At the same time the research aims to develop an innovative platform for conducting physically non-invasive ethnographies on the participants of the network.
Matthew is also the founding manager of Falmouth and Penryn’s community radio station Source FM and is responsible for the delivery of the Falmouth open-air performance initiative called ‘ParkLive’.
