Dr Sal Lampkin
Research Fellow

Profile

Sal has spent nearly 30 years in the health, HE and sustainability sectors in the UK and overseas, as a clinician, regional manager and, most recently, an academic. These activities have involved individuals, communities and strategic planning, based on many of the principles that underpin socio-psychology, behaviour change, social influence and social marketing. Her current interests focus on sustainable transport, mobilities and travel behaviour, and she is working on an Innovate UK/NERC funded project ‘Engaging Smart Transport’, along with UoE colleagues and a Consortium of external partners. The project’s focus is engaging people in the Exeter region in Smart technologies to shift their travel behaviour to more sustainable modes.
