Welcome to Geography at the Penryn Campus, Cornwall

A warm welcome to the University of Exeter, and congratulations on securing a place in Geography, Environmental Science, or Human Sciences  here in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences.  I look forward to meeting you in September and hope that you will have a very rewarding, stimulating and productive experience as an undergraduate student here.

Within these web pages you will find a number of key and important documents to read before your arrival at University.  Please can I encourage you to take the time to consider this content thoroughly – it really will help you through your first few weeks as an undergraduate and may answer some of the questions you have now that you know you have a place on your course.

The information includes the dates and times of your introductory meetings in the Centre for Geography, Environment and Society.  Please note that these meetings are vitally important and you should ensure that you attend.  Also available are some documents that you should read before you arrive.  If you have any questions about the contents you should discuss them with your personal tutor when you arrive. You will be informed who this is when you get here.

A big welcome to all of you who have chosen to come and study Geography at Exeter University and many congratulations on securing a place here. My colleagues and myself in Geography are looking forward to meeting you in September at the start of your degree programme.
