Physical Geography
About me:
I am a research fellow within CREWW, specialising in watershed modelling. Previous work includes using models to:
- Estimate the impacts of the re-introduction of beavers on flow regimes in England
- Predict the impact of changing land management on water quality and the shellfish industry
- Determine the risk posed by down-the-drain chemicals in river catchments in China
My main interests relate to catchment management, model uncertainty and making the best use of poorly available data.
Broad research specialisms:River catchment management, environmental modelling, modelling uncertainty and GIS.
Interests:
My research focuses on the use of environmental models for the purpose of river catchment management.
Qualifications:
BSc Geography
MSc Catchment management and dynamics
PhD Environmental Science
