Dr Jenny Hatchard (she, her)

Dr Jenny Hatchard is a social scientist with over two decades of experience of working on interdisciplinary research projects. Her research to date has spanned marine ocean governance (fisheries, fishing communities, ecosystem-based management) and public health policy (tobacco control, corporate influence on science and policy, evidence-based policy-making, taxes for public health).

Jenny is currently Research and Impact Fellow with the ACCESS Network (accessnetwork.uk). Led by the Universities of Exeter and Surrey, the Network's aim is to enhance the capacity of social science to investigate and influence environmental challenges. Jenny has previously worked for the Universities of Newcastle, Bath and Bristol where she developed expertise in both research impact and qualitative methods alongside her research.
