I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Geography at the University of Exeter. After receiving a BSc in Geology and an MSc in Engineering Geology from the University of Padova (Italy) and working in the private sector as an environmental specialist, in 2017 I moved to the United Kingdom where I undertook a PhD in Physical Geography at the University of Southampton.

My research focusses on understanding the geomorphic systems response under natural and anthropogenic stresses. I am particularly interested in developing and applying morphodynamic models to assess how external pressures may influence the evolution of reverine settings and coastal transitional zones.

Research interests

My research interests are centered on the response that geomorphic systems have when when subject to external natural and anthropogenic stresses particularly in large riverine settings and in transitional zones between fluvial and maritime environments.
