Overview
I am an oceanographer with broad research interests covering physical oceanograhy, polar science and the coastal environment. I am currently undertaking a GW4+ NERC Funded PhD within the University of Exeter's Geography department, under the supervision of Dr Jamie Shutler, Dr Tom Bell (PML) and Dr Karen Anderson. The focus of the project is the use of remote sensing, from satellites to drones, in improving understanding of the interaction between sea-ice and air-sea fluxes of carbon dioxide in the polar oceans, particularly in the dynamic Marginal Ice Zone.
