Research

Research interests

My background is on plant physiological ecology with focus on plant mineral nutrition, mostly on nutrient poor environments (i.e. Cerrado, Kwongan vegetation).

During my career, I have published scientific articles and presented several works on plant mineral nutrition and restoration in grasslands. In the past years, I have been involved in restoration projects in Kenyan and Brazilian savannah, researching on how plat-traits can help restoring soil multifunctionality.
