Overview

I am the Tipping Points Research Impact Fellow at the Global Systems Institute (GSI), University of Exeter. I also hold a Visiting Research Fellowship at the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP), University of Surrey, and am a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts (FRSA) in London. I co-lead the work on positive social tipping points at the Global Systems Institute, and am part of the core project team producing the Global Tipping Points Report. I served as an expert reviewer to the UN IPCC’s Working Group III Sixth Assessment Report (AR6-WG3), and to the Swiss National Science Foundation.

I have authored a variety of peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, policy-papers, popular articles and blogs. I regularly give talks to public, corporate and academic conferences/events. 

Broad research specialisms:

Positive social tipping points, systems-thinking, system-wide transformations to a sustainable future.
